Surfactants
Surfactants are one of the main groups of cosmetic ingredients that provide cleansing of the skin and hair, as well as supporting the effective performance of other substances in the product. They work by reducing the surface tension between water and oils, allowing these substances to mix, form emulsions, and be easily rinsed away. Thanks to this property, surfactants are indispensable in various cosmetic products such as shampoos, shower gels, facial cleansers, soaps, and many others.
