Epoxy Resin TC System is the most advanced level of shine, glossy, reflectivity, clarity and depth, and it locks in those optical qualities forever. The most sophisticated system of synthetic polymeric-based protection available. TC System Epoxy Resin is engineered specifically for bar tops, tabletops & countertops, but it is also used for souvenir production, transparent trinkets, photos, paintings, 3D images, wall panels. Often used for pouring into molds with natural fillers such as marble and granite chips, quartz sand, shells, coins, banknotes, etc.
The finished products are strong and durable. They are moisture-resistant, moderately heat-resistant and can also be treated, painted, primed or glued to other surfaces.
!!! Be sure to follow simple safety rules! Wear a respirator, gloves and, if you have eye sensitivity, protective eyewear when working with any epoxy resin.
Mixing ratio A:B = 1:1
The correct mixing ratio is determined by weight.
We recommend using accurate scales to weigh the ingredients correctly. DO NOT try to measure the ingredients by volume. Mixing vessels must be clean and dry, free from possible contaminants such as dirt, dust or grease. The components should be mixed in a well-ventilated area.
Mix only the required amount of TC-110 resin together with the appropriate amount of hardener. Mix the mixture thoroughly for 3-7 minutes, scraping the product from the sides and bottom of the container. A double mixing procedure is desirable.
Before pouring the epoxy resin on a surface or object, it is recommended to prime it thoroughly with a thin coat of the same resin and allow to dry. This is particularly recommended for porous surfaces to prevent air bubbles.
Pour the mixture into a single stream directed towards the bottom of the mould. Allow the mixture to spread evenly. Even dispersion of the mixture will help to avoid air entrapment in the mixture.
The curing time at room temperature varies with the weight of the composition. The surface of the resulting product can be polished. A respirator should be worn to prevent dust from entering the respiratory tract when handling or sanding. Working and curing times depend directly on the weight and configuration of the product. Full curing time 96 hours (+ 5-7 days before polishing and sanding).
